Cash & Debtors Accountant

Planon is implementing a corporate-wide Cash Management process in order to optimize cash flows and limit the use of bank loans. This will also include the international management of customer receivables.

To setup and manage these activities, we are looking for an enthusiastic young Finance professional who is interested in and wants to develop himself further on financing and treasury structures.

• Implement an effective cash management structure across all Planon entities, incl. cash pooling techniques.
• Use all the technical possibilities of the various electronic banking systems, in combination with the system of Planon’s main bank ABN AMRO (Access Online).
• Execute daily cash transfers into the cash pool and monitor the intercompany receivables/payables balances.
• Report the Daily cash balance of total Group and co-develop and report a automated dashboard / app for the above.
• Monitor and action both Dutch (direct) and foreign (indirect) customer receivables.
• Support and co-work on other treasury activities, like Accounts Payable, in order to work on continuous improvement of the group’s cash management.

Required experiences / Key Competences

• Finance or Economic graduate on minimum HBO level (treasury/financing).
• Preferrable worked within a cash management/treasury department of a bank.
• Proficient in PC-IT (Excel) tooling skills, experience with Exact Globe is a pré.
• Mentality for continuous improvement.
• No 9-5 mentality.
• Good communication skills towards internal teams and external banks/treasury organizations, fluent in English, written and verbally.
